Are children allowed?

Yes, children are welcome, but they must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

  • Children under 4 go free, but a ticket is still required for entry.

  • Concession tickets are available for ages 5–18.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. You can show your digital ticket on your phone at the entrance. Please ensure your ticket barcode is visible and your screen brightness is turned up for quick scanning.

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

We will do our best to accommodate anyone who arrives without a ticket or has additional guests joining at the last minute.

Tickets will remain on sale online until the event sells out.

What payment methods are accepted?

Both cash and card payments are accepted at the festival.

However, we recommend bringing a card or contactless payment method, as some vendors may operate cashless systems.

What facilities will be available?

The festival will include a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, including:

What time does the music start and finish?

Festival gates and music times will be announced closer to the event date.

We recommend arriving early to enjoy the full festival experience.

Can I leave the venue and return?

Yes. All attendees will receive a wristband upon arrival, which allows re-entry to the festival site.

Please note: if you lose your wristband you will not be allowed re-entry.

Is camping available?

Yes, camping is available onsite for festival attendees.

Can I bring a campervan?

Yes, campervan spaces are available, but must be booked in advance through our website.

Can I bring chairs or picnic blankets?

Yes, folding chairs and picnic blankets are welcome, but we ask that they are used in designated areas so everyone can enjoy the performances.

Are dogs allowed?

Only registered assistance dogs are permitted within the festival grounds.

What items are not allowed?

For safety and licensing reasons, the following items are not permitted inside the festival:

  • Alcohol brought from outside the venue

  • Any items that could be used as a weapon

  • Illegal substances

  • Glass bottles

Security staff may refuse entry or confiscate prohibited items if necessary.

What happens if it rains?

The festival will go ahead rain or shine, so please come prepared with suitable clothing for the weather.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking will be available around Buncrana town close to the festival site.

Attendees are encouraged to follow local signage and instructions from parking stewards when arriving.

Getting to Buncrana Music Festival

The festival takes place at Buncrana Shore Front, County Donegal, overlooking Lough Swilly.

Buncrana is located approximately:

  • 30 minutes from Derry

  • 40 minutes from Letterkenny

  • 1 hour from Donegal Town

The site is easily accessible via the Wild Atlantic Way.
