Buncrana Music Festival returns this year, following a successful first year at Buncrana’s Shore Front
2018 saw Welsh rock band Feeder, and Grammy Award winning DJ Roger Sanchez enthrall the crowds as the sun baked down. Roger Sanchez commented that the location was more like Ibiza, as boats and yacht watched from a distance off-shore, while the music could be heard for miles around.
The festival returns on the 28th - 29th June 2019 even bigger and better than before, with Hudson Taylor, the Hothouse Flowers, the Blizzards, Natty Wailer, Key West, Lovengro, Dont Fear The Natives and String Empire already confirmed.
Following a very safe first concert, we are now admitting under 16’s to the event, accompanied by a repsonsible adult, while camping & glamping facilities on-site will make the event extra-special.
The line-up for this year’s event is second to none locally, and with additional artists still to be announced, it’s without doubt the best value for money festival in Ireland. Alcohol is served on site, and in Buncrana, you’ll pay the same at the festival as you would pay in the local pub, with pints starting at only €4, and much more, including food available all day and plenty for younger music fans to do as well.
We’re proud of our ambition to become one of the safest, entertaining and fun summer festivals in Ireland, and we have a safety record to prove it too. If you fancy a dip on the beach, lifeguards are also on site throughout the event, just make sure you pay attention to the instructions of security and Gardai!
